Ben Franklin (and yes, that is his real name) is a New York based variety entertainer who runs the gamut of skills and performances.  Working as a professional circus artist, singer, actor, dancer, instrumentalist and teacher, Ben offers a wide range of talents for a variety of performance styles. Co-creator of 2 Ring Circus, a theatrical circus production and performance company, he combines unique theatricality with circus performance with his own particular flair.  Performances range from Hula Hooping to aerial work both in Solo and Duo formats on Trapeze, Rope, Lyra, Spanish Web, Hammock & Fabric, Song & Dance and Duo Acrobatics. He is available for performance in traditonal theatrical settings, Burlesque and Ambient Atmosphere.

 

He is part of the Burlesque performing duo "2 To Fly" with partner and spouse Joshua Dean.  Together, these "Acrobatic Teasers" combine circus arts and humor to create dynamic burlesque performances.

 

Ben has been seen as a rotating cast member in Galapagos Arts Space's "Floating Kabarette" and "Burlesque Below The Bridges", featured in the New York Burlesque and Boylesque Festivals for multiple years, been seen on PBS' Great Performances & NBC's "The Marriage Ref", taken center stage at Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center, headlined on Norwegian Cruise Lines and traveled the world through an array of performance venues around the globe.
