Joshua Dean is a New York City based aerialist and circus performer and has been for over 10 years. He is cofounder of the theatrical circus company 2 Ring Circus, cofounder and instructor of Aerial Arts NYC, faculty member for Pace University, and cofounder of Boys Night: An All Male Cirquelesque Revue.

 

He has created aerial and circus work for theaters, cruise ships, nightclubs and corporate events for more than a decade. You may have seen him perform at NYC staples such as the Slipper Room, Webster Hall, the Box, Galapagos Art Space, & Santos Party House. His theatrical credits include LA Opera's "The Ghosts of Versailles" directed by Tony Award winner Darko Tresnjak, Twyla Tharp's "The Times They Are A-Changin", Goodspeed Opera House's "CARNIVAL!" directed by Darko Tresnjak and choreographed by Peggy Hickey and many more. He has performed his 2 person show across the 7 seas with Norwegian Cruise Line, headlined "Boys' Night" on Atlantis Cruises and "Boys' Night" is currently enjoying it's monthly residence at the Slipper Room. TV credits include consulting for NBC's Smash and Good Morning America.

In 2019, Josh won the title of Mr. Exotic World after competing at The Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas.
